Alistair Coleridge, a sixty-year-old Englishman the founder prestigious London publishing house, experiences a life-altering event with the sudden death of his sister. Overwhelmed by city life and consumed by sorrow, he leaves his urban existence behind to move to Tyntesfield Manor, a secluded manor by the Cerulean Ocean.
