I Enjoyed the Book

I had the pleasure of being invited by Brandon King to read his poetry book entitled Coffee then Wine. First, I want to say I love the cover of the book. Brandon’s poetry is a poetic blend of rhymes. I love the way he incorporated the rhythms into the verses. His poetry captures the meaning of everyday life and understanding of pain, trials, tribulations, but with joy, wisdom, and strength. Some of the author’s poems are about coffee and wine. He used the same captivation in the poems about coffee and wine to express the same meaning of everyday life and how to conquer love over hate. Coffee then Wine owns up to its title. I’d say grab a mug of coffee, or a glass of wine when reading Brandon King’s Coffee then Wine.
